Bio #1: Zebra Duiker

Hi!
I am going to be doing a new "series" about endangered animals.Every two weeks I'm going to talk about 5 or so endangered animals. Then I will poll you. Which ones you're favorite? (Even though you like all of them.) Here's the first one:
The First Bio... ZEBRA DUIKER!!!!!!!!!!!

The Zebra Duiker

The zebra duiker is a very interesting creature. It’s like a cross between a zebra, a tiger, an antelope, and a deer. It does have zebra stripes, though not on the head or neck, but instead of a white background coat, it has a tigerlike reddish background coat. They have small antlers like antelopes, they are much smaller than ordinary zebras, and they have a big behind. These cute creatures weigh an average of 30 pounds, the weight of an average-sized dog. They live in Liberia, Guinea, and Sierra Leone, and have been seen in Cote d’Ivoire.
The zebra duiker is a species with many problems. It’s so tiny compared to other forest animals, and this is the reason why it has so many predators, including big cats and even birds of prey. Some humans poach these animals for their fur and their meat. The zebra duiker is shown as “threatened” on the US Federal List. This cute animals’ population has decreased 30% in the last 15 years! There are only about 1000-10000 of these animals left in the wild. Please help the zebra duiker.
